Kaylee’s Story by Julie Campbell- Pet Owner:
“I got a puppy just over three years ago. When my puppy, Kaylee, was 8 months old, she had sores all over her back end and pulled out about forty percent of the hair off her body. I took her to the vet where they did skin testing, hair analysis, put her on antibiotics, steroids, and creams. They recommended washing her every other day with expensive shampoo, and much more.
I learned about Canine Caviar’s alkaline food. I fed her venison and split pea formula. The bumps started clearing after a couple of days. The redness was visibly pulling out of the bumps, and after a couple of weeks, the bumps were all gone. After six weeks, all of her hair was back.”

My dog has a very sensitive stomach and is a super picky eater. He wouldn’t even let me finish filling his bowl before he started digging in. His food was gone in a minute! Usually we hear his stomach digesting and he’s lethargic after he eats. Not this time! Super excited to continue trying this.

My dog is pretty fussy when it comes to food but he loved this. Couldn’t stop eating it! I love how it’s all natural and pure ingredients with nothing bad in it for him like many other dog foods on the market.

My Labradoodle loves this dog food! This is her first time eating Venison-based dog food and she’s a big fan! She gets so excited when I pull it out, which is so special because she is such a picky eater. I’ve noticed that she has more energy afterwards which I love. I also really like how the ingredients are all clean and intentionally picked.

I bought this for my pitty who has severe allergies to just about everything (we’ve done a blood test to confirm these, and potatoes are on the list!). I’m excited to try a new protein for her. So far she really loved the food and I’m hoping we can keep her itching and flare ups to a minimum in our slow food transition.
I’m confused about one thing though: the website states that the product is made in the USA but on our bag, the parts that state “Made in USA” were covered by a white sticker. Is this one not made here?

The Venison kibble is made in the USA but the meat is sourced from New Zealand as it is a more environmentally sustainable source.

I’m so happy you were able to find a good venison source and you are making it again. My German Shepherd loves it and sends her love to you 💕

I love all the proteins, this is a great food and my lab mix thrives on it. I can’t pick a favorite protein because everyone we’ve purchased so far has been great.

My Lab pup will eat anything. We started him on the Lamb version of CC Sept 2019 it cleared up any skin issues he had, and keeps his urine ph in the alkaline zone. When the Venison version came available I decided to give t a try. It smells a tad gamey to me compared to the lamb-but he loves it and his coat seems to be softer/shinier.

I love the zipper on the bag it keeps the food fresh and last longer!

Just recieved this Leaping Spirit dog food for the first time, and my dog is loving already devouring it! He is living up to his name, ‘Chewy’ Haha. The delivery came fast and was easier then buying heavy bags of dog food at the grocery store, and the quality seems much higher than the stuff I used to purchase.

My pup loves it. He’s a big fan of venison, so he tears this up. He has a very sensitive stomach and this food has worked wonders. Plus I love that it’s made in the USA.

Love the resealable bag! This is high quality food that my dog loves, I had no issue switching her over to it. I am glad she’s eating this rather than any of the mainstream, brands that have lots of filler in them. I like that this formula is grain free and has venison which is otherwise harder to find. It also doesn’t upset her sensitive stomach!

I have a 25 lb shiba inu who is very picky with his food! We have been feeding him elk/venison dry food from taste of the wild but he has gotten quite tired of it and will only eat it when he is starving. I tried mixing this one in and he’s finally eating it immediately! And he’s digesting it absolutely fine. Love the naturally sourced and top notch ingredients – well worth it!

My dog loves this! He’s a little shih tzu who is very picky, but he was willing to eat this mixed with some wet food. The size of the bag is perfect. I especially like the ingredients and the fact that there’s no junk in the food.

I love finding new food to give to my pup. He is a picky eater and gets sick of food quickly. He ran up up to the bag when I opened it and was excited to try it. I hope he keeps enjoys eating it.

This is simply a great dog food. My dogs and I could tell right away from the smell that it was stuffed with meat protein. It’s pricey but requires less food to get in the daily calories. It’s still expensive but not as much as it seems at first. Still too pricey to use often, but a great kibble.

Caviar is such a fun name for my super finicky furbaby. He was never picky before and in the last 6 months or so has been becoming more and more picky. He loves this! I think it’s the sealable bag that keeps it fresh and makes it easier to travel with when I’m away for the day or weekend. So happy with it.

My Dublin (labrador retriever) is 3+ years old and was suffering with “itchy” skin. My veterinarian suggested switching her from the food she had been on for two years to a different protein source to rule out a food allergy. I consulted the staff at my local pet store and they recommended Canine Caviar hands down. I wanted a convenient delivery service and DoggieBagDelivers.com was just the company I needed. Dublin has been on the food for a little over a month and the itching has stopped, her appetite for her venison kibble is robust, but let’s remember she’s “a LAB”. The transition is unbelievably simple–there isn’t one–switched her over as recommended on the packaging and had no problems. I am going to rotate her proteins monthly between four different protein sources within the Canine Caviar product line. So far I couldn’t be happier and Dublin is ecstatic.

I am so incredibly excited that Venison is back! This is the protein my dogs do the best on, so I’m super excited that it’s back after a long delay. I am so appreciative that Canine Caviar only uses the best quality venison and does not settle for substandard ingredients!
